Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a Consent to Assignment of Contract between Williamson County, Texas, Rogers Design Services, PLLC, as Assignor, and WSB & Associates, Inc., as Assignee, in the Contract for Engineering Services by and between Williamson County and Rogers Design Services, PLLC, dated effective February 3, 2016, relating to roadway engineering services.
Background
Rogers Design Services, PLLC and WSB & Associates, Inc. are merging together and WSB & Associates, Inc. is seeking assignment of the existing Rogers Design contract due to the merger. WSB & Associates is assuming all of Rogers Design’s obligation and liabilities under the existing contract. The Department of Infrastructure has approved the assignment.
