Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approval and signature authorization of an Interlocal Agreement Between Williamson County and City of Georgetown pertaining to operations of the Williamson County Conservation Foundation.

The Interlocal Agreement under consideration accomplishes a dedication of a 2.134 acre tract to the County - to hold in trust for the Williamson County Conservation Foundation - to provide a buffer for a known endangered species habitat feature to facilitate a Karst Fauna Area preserve as a part of the County's Habitat Conservation Plan.

The City of  Georgetown acted on this Agreement in December 2016 but it took until February 2018 to reach final agreement with the Sun City Community Association for a Conservation Easement grant of approximately 90 acres (MOL). The Conservation Easement has been filed of record with the County Clerk. This Interlocal Agreement will likewise be filed in the County's permanent records.

Requested action is to approve the Interlocal Agreement and authorize the County Judge (or designee) to sign and to direct WCCF to file in the County's deed records.
