Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on recognizing Technology Services as a winner of the Texas Association of Government IT Managers (TAGITM) 2018 Excellence Award.
Background
Williamson County was selected as one of three Excellence Award winners at the statewide conference for the Technology Project Request and Evaluation Process. Technology Services designed and implemented new procedures to help streamline technology projects in the County and help get the appropriate information from the vendors in a timely manner. These processes have already helped several projects become a success and saved many hours of staff time in IT and other departments. A representative from the TAGITM board will be here to present.
