Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on the acceptance of the Memorandum of Understanding with the State of Texas regarding the state wide radio interoperability on the use of National Public Safety Planning Advisory Committee (NPSPAC) frequencies.
Background
The State of Texas is requiring all jurisdictions to enter into a memorandum of understanding, establishing radio usage guidelines and authorization to operate on the National Public Safety Planning Advisory Committee (NPSPAC) frequencies. This occurs most often during times of mutual aid outside the home jurisdiction or during disasters.
