Background
This change order balances the contract quantities and decreases the total contract amount by $5,476.00. With this change order, and payment of a final invoice, this project will be satisfactorily completed. Original contract amount was $245,486.50. This change order would result in a final contract amount of $240,010.50. While under construction it was determined that the existing pavement surface was less porous than anticipated.
