Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 with Santa Anna Construction in the amount of $39,295.76 for the Williamson County Regional Raw Water Line, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Pct 3.

This Change Order provides for the final balancing for the overrun/underrun of Contract quantities on the project, due to addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans. The balancing of the CR 305 Force Account item includes the addition of a manway to the Contract, as requested by the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This Change Order also compensates the Contractor for a construction delay that occurred while Williamson County and BRA revised the interlocal agreement. The connection between the new portion of the water line and the existing water line could not take place until the new interlocal agreement was finalized. The Contractor was compensated an additional mobilization of equipment and standby charges for equipment left on the project during the delay. The delay lasted 10 days.
