Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on exempting RT Lawrence Corporation from the competitive bidding requirements established by Section 262.024.(a)(7) of the Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemptions, as the sole provider for RTLFirst remittance and processing system for the Williamson County Tax Office and authorizing the execution of the agreement.

Currently the Tax Office uses RT Lawrence hardware and software for remittance and processing. RT Lawrence is the only company who can perform maintenance on their product at risk of voiding warranty. The Sole Source posting was in BidSync for 14 days with no competitive responses received. The requested Sole Source designation would be applicable for a period of 36 months. The annual amount of $11,723.46 is budgeted in funding source 0100.0499.004505.  Funding was approved in the FY19 Budget.
