Recognition of volunteer groups that assisted with the water distribution operations resulting from the City of Austin water outage.
Background
During the City of Austin water outage, the Office of Emergency Management called upon local volunteer groups to assist with water distribution activities over a period of 5 days. The groups being recognized are the TEXSAR, Cedar Park Community Emergency Response Team, Georgetown Volunteers in Policing, Round Rock Seniors and Law Enforcement Together, Jarrell Community Emergency Response Team, Austin-Lakeway Community Emergency Response Team, the Knights of Columbus, and the Austin Disaster Relief Network.
