Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on extending Worker's Compensation Insurance through the Texas Association of Counties (TAC) Risk Management Pool for the renewal amount of $904,956 under coverage number WC-2460-20190101-1 for the term January 1, 2019 through January 1, 2020.
Background
The rate increase for the renewal term is $116,317. The premium reflects an increase in employees, salary increases due to merit/step increases, and an increase in the experience rating. This premium is included in the FY 19 budget under General Fund/Road & Bridge Fund.Point of Contact is Heather Kirkwood, Human Resources.
