Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on accepting and approving a report on the Georgetown Annex Project; Change Order # 22 in the amount of $27,524.49 to approve funding from within the existing contract for additional HVAC, drywall, flooring, hardware and electrical scopes of work, which was executed by Dale Butler, Williamson County Facilities Director, pursuant to the previous grant of authority under Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code. This change order is being funded by the Construction Managers Contingency. 

Background

Change order to approve funding for additional miscellaneous scopes of work made necessary to accommodate changes in or additions to the original scope of work in the plans and specs.
On September 6, 2016, the Williamson County Commissioners Court granted Dale Butler, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, with general authority to approve change orders for the Agreement for Construction Services with Chasco Constructors, LTD, L.L.P. in relation to the Williamson County Georgetown Annex Project for any increase in costs up to a total maximum amount of $30,000.00 in accordance with Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code – Changes in Plans and Specifications. This report is being provided for purposes of notifying the court of such change order and to place it in the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
