Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on exempting Larry Perez Signs and Graphix from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov't Code §§ 262.024.(4), 262.024.(7)(A) and 262.024.(7)(D), for the one time purchase of vehicle decals and wraps in the amount of $23,750.00.

Larry Perez Signs and Graphix has created the wraps and decals for the Sheriff's Office in the past and this is a component purchase of previous works.  The design is original to Larry Perez Signs & Graphix and the Sheriffs' Office would like to stay consistent with the image.  The funds used for this exemption are coming from the Sheriff's Office 01.0100.0560.005700.  Vendor does not require signature on the attached estimate.  Purchasing has contacted the vendor and verified that the estimate is still considered valid.
