Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to proclaim the week of APRIL 7 - 13, 2019, NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS’ RIGHTS WEEK in Williamson County, Texas.

NCVRW will be commemorated across the United States during the week of April 7–13, 2019. This year’s theme—Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future.—celebrates the progress made by those before us as we look to a future of crime victim services that is even more inclusive, accessible, and trauma-informed.

Annually in the month of April our county joins with OVC (Office For Victims of Crime)  and communities across the United States to raise awareness of victims’ rights and services, highlight local programs, celebrate progress achieved, and honor victims and the professionals who serve them.

ALL ARE INVITED TO ATTEND: Williamson County’s annual Crime Victims’ Rights Week Ceremony on Wednesday, April 10th at 10:00 a.m. in the new Williamson County Georgetown Annex located at 100 Wilco Way, 2^nd Floor Meeting Room, Georgetown, TX 78626 where we will honor 10 nominees who have been selected by 10 agencies for their distinguished service to victims of violent crime in Williamson County.
