This Change Order provides for the final balancing for the overrun/underrun of Contract quantities on the project due to addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans. Additional time was necessary for extra scope at the Oaklands Drive intersection for drainage and median improvements. Additional time was also granted for delays due to conflicts with existing utilities and for non-working days that were previously charged. The project encountered extreme wet weather conditions that could not have been anticipated by the Contractor and TxDOT requested limited work on various holidays during the construction of the project.
