Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of historical document preservation services in the amount of $277,050 from Kofile Technologies per Interlocal Agreement between Brazoria County, TX and Williamson County, TX to support the operation of the County Clerk's Office.
Background
Kofile has provided services to Williamson County for numerous years under the piggyback arrangement with Brazoria County (see attached). This purchase is to preserve historical documents for the Williamson County Clerk's Office. Funding for this project is from the Records Archive Fee as set forth in Section 118.011(f) of the County's Annual Budget. The FY 2019 Archive Plan for Preservation and Restoration of Archived Records for the County Clerk's Records was approved in Commissioner's Court on 09/11/2018.
