Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on ratifying Blanket Purchase Order #171047 for Emergency Rental of Chiller Unit for Cedar Park Annex, in the amount of $20,000, for Central Texas Commercial A/C & Heating, Inc., and exempting this purchase/rental from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024.(a)(3).
Background
The HVAC Chiller at the Cedar Park Annex which serves the entire facility went down on 3/27/19 and a new one has been ordered as a replacement. In the interim, it was necessary that a temporary leased chiller be put in place (on 3/29/19) to continue to condition and serve the building. Funding Source: 01.0100.1032.004510.
