Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a Grant Letter Agreement between Petco Foundation and Williamson County regarding Petco’s grant of up to $900,000.00 to be used to support the mission and purpose of the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter.
Background
This is a $900,000 grant given to us by Petco Foundation. It is paid out in three years ($300,000) per year. I had applied for a $99,000 grant to use towards renovating the outside kennels. Petco Foundation allows the grant recipients to chose what to spend the grant on as long as it is not part of what is already covered in the budget and that it contributes and/or increases life-saving.
