Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on appointing Terry Cook to represent Williamson County on the Regional Affordability Committee.

This organization was created by Austin City Ordinance in January of 2015 to address all areas of affordability in Central Texas, share best practices among taxing jurisdictions and provide an expanded opportunity for transparency, public input, and collaboration.

Williamson County is a participating governmental entity and may be represented by one appointee.

Term of appointment is until an official resignation occurs, removal by the member’s appointing body, or failure to attend three consecutive regular bi-monthly meetings or 1/3 of all the regular meetings during any 12-month period.

Meetings are held every other month in Austin at City Hall.
