Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for the Tax Assessor/Collector.
Background
This line item transfer will be utilized to replace numerous computers at the recommendation of the Technology Services department. These funds will be used to replace five 7010 computers that are over six years old and four 7040 computers as per the recommendation. Included in these figures are reducing seven computers that run the Nemo-Q queuing systems in the Georgetown, Round Rock, Taylor, and Cedar Park offices to four computers. The Nemo-Q computers need to be updated to maintain any upgrades that Nemo-Q installs as a part of our maintenance package.
