Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a line item transfer for the County Sheriff.
Background
Transferring funds to cover shortfall to pay outstanding and upcoming invoices for Pharmacy Supplies and Services. We currently have a balance of $2837.81 in the Pharmaceutical account and still owe around $18,000.00 for May invoicing. We average around $49,000.00 to $50,000.00 per month because of the high cost of Invega (Injectable Anti-Psychotic), Prezcobix (HIV Medication), Genvoya (HIV Medication) and Biktarvy (HIV Medication). These medications along with several others cost around $1300.00 to $4000.00 per shot. We are requesting additional funding to cover outstanding May invoicing and the rest of the fiscal year for June 2019 through September 2019.
