Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Interlocal Agreement and Contract between the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and Williamson County for equipment and consumables and authorizing execution of both documents.

This interlocal agreement between the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and Williamson County includes a Scope of Services, General Terms and Conditions, a RTS Workstation Lease Agreement, Designation of Equipment Custodian(s), and County Equipment List.  Approval of this ILA will allow the county to lease additional workstations at a rate of $350 per year plus $11 per year for an eLearning account, rate subject to change annually.  If a cable drop is needed there is a onetime fee of $180.  For workstations that are leased by the county for placement in a full-service deputy office there is an additional annual cost of $4,240 per FSD per year to cover the T1 circuit cost. The county is not requesting to lease any additional workstations at this time. Lease charges are billed annually.  First year lease charges are prorated based on the installation date and will be included on the next annual invoice.  This agreement terminates six years from the date the State executes the contract unless otherwise terminated as provided in attachment B.  Department contact is Larry Gaddes Williamson County Tax Assessor/Collector.
