Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and a grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances and approve a budget amendment acknowledging additional expenditures for the Sheriff's Department.
Background
On 5/10/19 a purchase order was issued to Motorola in the amount of $17,485.93 for an upgrade to 11 radios. The upgrade was not received until 10/15/19. Motorola was contacted prior to this date to follow up on the status of an invoice. When Motorola checked into it, it was discovered the items had been ready for some time but were never shipped.
