Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the purchase of three (3) Dodge Chargers in the amount of $115,814.33 from Chrysler Jeep Dodge City of McKinney per BuyBoard Cooperative Contract #521-16 and upfitting from Defender Supply through Tarrant County Cooperative 2019-181.
Background
This purchase includes replacements and new vehicles for the Sheriff's Office: one (1) replacement Charger for Traffic and two (2) new Chargers for new CID Detective positions. See attached quotes for vehicle specifications and upfitting through Defender Supply. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0560.005700. Funding was approved in the FY2020 budget.
