Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $53,416.00 for CR 279 (Bagdad Road) at River Ranch Park Road (Champion Site Prep), a Road Bond project in Commissioner Pct. 2. P: 438  Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order adds new bid items and adjusts quantities for the utility construction inside River Ranch Park. This Change Order adds a service meter and replaces DR-18 pipe with DR-14 pipe for the 12" water line inside the park. This Change Order compensates the Contractor for additional work and material in order to connect the 12" water line to the water line installed by others at the west end of the park road. This Change Order adds an irrigation stub-out on the 12" water line and 4" PVC sleeves under the roadway for future irrigation needs inside the park. This Change Order also replaces the Type 1 communication ground boxes with Type D ground boxes per RFI 6 response. Type D ground boxes are available at a lower cost and still meet the project requirements.
