Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing Williamson County to apply for a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) grant for an emergency warning system for the City of Liberty Hill.

The County will apply through the Texas Division of Emergency Management, on behalf of the City of Liberty Hill for a FEMA HMGP grant.  An MOU between the County and the City acknowledges that the City accepts responsibility for all matching funds, related expenses associated with the project and will hire a consultant to manage the grant process.  The City of Liberty Hill has hired Langford Community Managment Services as their consultant. The County Judge will serve as the County's Chief Executive Officer and Authorized Representative to act in all matters in connection with this application.
