Discuss, consider and take appropriate action approving the agreement between Democracy Live, Inc and Williamson County for OmniBallot online products and services in the amount of $9,000, and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
Democracy live will deliver to the County a PDF ballot delivery system that enables the voter to access, return materials, and PDF of the appropriate ballot style. The voter prints the PDF locally, marks the paper ballot, and subsequently returns the completed ballot to the county. Process is UOCAVA (Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act) compliant. Initial term of this agreement is through 12/31/2022. The County will be invoiced the yearly subscription fee of $9,000 January 1st of each year. The Department obtained three quotes for this service. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.00492.004506. Funding was budgeted in FY20. Department contact is Jenifer Favreau.
