Background

The job was posted internally by my office and one of the three applicants was selected after testing. The position was part of a re-class and approved by Commissioners Court on November 19th 2019 at a new pay grade of B.23 with a minimum salary of $41,581.50. The promotion policy for internal candidates is 10% over their current salary or 15% over the minimum (in this case $47,818.73) whichever is greater.  When this position was reclassified in November from $61,203 and set to a salary of $51,121.66,  I would like to bring this applicant in at that rate.
