Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the proposal to renovate the Texas Avenue Building to accommodate WIC moving out of Round Rock A Annex and into the Texas Avenue building.
Background
The Williamson County and Cities Health District is requesting Court approval for renovations at the 355 Texas Avenue Round Rock Public Health Center to integrate WIC services (which are currently housed at the 211 Commerce building). Health District staff have worked with Facilities staff to develop a plan that will allow the Health District and WIC to co-locate all services at a minimal expense and with very minor modification to the County-owned structure. The current estimate for these renovations is approximately $24,000.
