Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on appointment of a Deputy Constable for the Williamson County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office, with Marco A. Villarreal, pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 86.011.

Marco A. Villarreal is to be appointed to the full-time position of Deputy Constable by Constable Rick Coffman.  Mr. Villarreal is a licensed peace officer in the State of Texas.  Mr. Villarreal started his career in law enforcement in 1990 when he was appointed a deputy sheriff with the Bell County Sheriff’s Office.  Mr. Villarreal served with the Bell County Sheriff’s Office his entire career, honorably retiring this year with 30 years of service.  The last several years of his service with the Bell County Sheriff’s Office saw Mr. Villarreal supervising the Criminal and Civil Process Interdiction Unit which is responsible for the service of writs of all types, seizures of real and personal property to satisfy judgments and conducting sales and auctions of seized property.  Mr. Villarreal brings with him a wealth of civil process and law enforcement experience which will benefit Williamson County.  Mr. Villarreal and his family will reside in Williamson County.
