Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding acceptance of various face mask donation(s) from the Southeast Georgetown Community Council (Mask-O-Gram Program) to the Williamson County Elections Department to support operations and promote the public health and safety pursuant to Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 81.032.
Background
The Elections Department was contacted by Chuck Collins of the Southeast Georgetown Community Council regarding the donation of face masks for use by poll workers in our upcoming elections. The Council has approximately one hundred face masks ready to donate to the Elections Department for distribution to poll workers. Additional masks may be donated through the Council's Mask-O-Gram program.
