Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a grant extension request for Trauma Focused Equine-Therapy Program provided by Juvenile Services.

Juvenile Services was award $65,400 through the Office of the Governor-Criminal Justice Division for FY20 to operate a Trauma Focused Equine-Therapy Program.  The grant is currently scheduled to end in September 2020.  In response to Covid19, the department discontinued the program for a couple of months to enure the safety of the youth, staff, and contractors.  We have started the program again, using appropriate precautions, but we do have some concerns that we will have difficulty using all the grant funds by the end of the FY due to the unexpected interruption in programming.  In an effort to utilize all the funds awarded, we would like to request an extension through December 2020.
