Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Kayco Spray Booths, Inc. for paint booth upgrades, in the not-to-exceed amount of $90,650.00, and exempting this purchase from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(7)(D) captive replacement parts or components for equipment, and authorizing of the execution of the agreement.
Background
This is to provide materials and labor for the upgrading of paint booths as described in Quotes No. 9600, 9778, and 9779. Only Kayco Spray Booths, INC, is able to provide this service due to them being the manufacturer of the existing equipment. The department point of contact is Dwayne Gossett. This expenditure will be charged to 100.1026.5300 which was approved for FY2020.
