Background
Williamson County is seeking Federal CARES ACT funding for a job creation/retention project. This grant would assist in job creation and retention in the Hutto and Taylor area. It would also greatly improve safety in the area. The amount of the grant request is $48,200,000.00. There is a 20% local match requirement. The local match is to be funded by Precinct 4 Road Bond Program Funds.
