Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of Tyler Eagle recording hosting services from Tyler Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $90,767 and exempting Tyler Technologies from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Government Code 262.024 (a)(7)(D) captive replacement components for equipment.
Background
Approval of this purchase will support the operations of the Williamson County County Clerks Office. Tyler Technologies is the current provider of the Eagle Recording software. Tyler Technologies will now host the software. This will alleviate some work off of IT as Tyler will process all reboots, updates, software patches and backups for the Tyler Eagle Recorder software. The agreement attached outlines the services provided, terms and conditions as well as pricing. Year one will include one time fees for a total of $90,797. Price for subsequent years will be $84,767. Legal, Contract Audit, and IT have all reviewed the agreement. This expenditure will be charged to .0385.0385.0000. Department contact is Nancy Rister.
