10:00 Conduct a public hearing relating to a request to move part-time salary dollars, hours, and related fringe funding within Department 510 - Parks between PCN’s #9948 and #9947 and discuss (1) the reason for the payment in excess of the previously approved budget amount, including the public purpose that will be served by making the excess payment; and (2) the exact amount of the excess payment, the sources of the payment, and the terms for distribution of the payment that effect and maintain the public purpose to be served by making the excess payment.
Background
The total budgeted amount will remain the same for the part-time salary line due to moving 330.88 hours from PCN #9948 to PCN #9947 for a total move of $4,456.95 salary dollars. The payment will be made through the regular payroll process using general fund, salary dollars in the Parks Department budget. The public purpose is to better serve the public by reallocating part-time hours due to a vacancy.
