Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ T2086 Materials Testing and Geotechnical Testing to the fourteen (14) submitting firms for a period of four (4) years on an as-needed basis.

The Purchasing Department solicited sealed statements of qualifications. Seventeen (17) firms participated of which fourteen (14) firms submitted responses. The responses were evaluated by an evaluation committee. The goal of establishing a pre-qualified engineering pool is to provide the county with the readied resources to assist in meeting workload demands in an organized and expeditious manner. The purpose of issuing the RFQ to establish the pool, is to provide respondents a fair and open response platform. Professional Service Agreements (PSA) will be contracted on an as-needed basis and will be presented to court for approval at that time.
