Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a blanket purchase order in the amount of $105,000 for pre-trial services satellite tracking equipment/services to Satellite Tracking of People, LLC.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Pre-Trial Court Services. Original agreement was approved by Commissioner's Court back on 12/22/2020 (attached). This item is just to authorize the issuance of the purchase order due to the large dollar amount. Amount is an estimate as the number of defendants to be tracked, equipment, etc. is determined by the courts. The county will cover those costs and be reimbursed by defendants at full cost or on a sliding scale for indigents. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0591.004100. Department contact is Pretrial Court Services Director, Jamie Carrillo.
