Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the quotation between InFax, Inc. and Williamson County for an upgrade and refresh of the Infax Electronic Docket Display System for the Williamson County Courts in the not-to-exceed-amount of $64,100.00 (less if no travel expenses as shown on quote) and exempting this service from the competitive bidding requirements per Texas Local Government Code (262.024(a)(7)(D) (captive replacement parts or components for equipment) and authorizing execution of the documents.
Background
In 2015 Williamson County issued a solicitation for an Electronic Docket Display System (RFP #15RFP108). InFax was awarded the contract. Since that time, the paid maintenance annually was approximately $9,000 a year. The system upgrade is needed to stay current and compliant.
