Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding acceptance of donation from Dell Children's Health Plan to assist and support the Williamson County Justice of the Peace, Pct. 3 and approve an event for junior and high school students as an official purpose pursuant to the Tex. Loc. Gov't Code § 81.032.

Williamson County Justice of the Peace, Pct. 3 is bringing a free ten-week experience designed for students who are going into their junior and senior year of high school. This program provides a curriculum to acquaint young adults on how Texas laws impact all citizens and the role the justice courts have in the process of the consequences of not adhering to these laws. This program is led by engaging presenters who will provide our young people with engaging topics and knowledge of laws and court. This program also provides an opportunity for participants to interact and network with students from other schools and allows them to form relationships and contacts with peers, presenters and members of the community. Dell Children's Health Plan, as a community partner, wishes to donate $1600.00 for the event to pay for meals and/or any other event-related expenses. Staff is requesting approval to accept the donation and execute the Partnership Agreement.
