Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Williamson County and Spectrum Internet Service to provide the installation and internet service to the Williamson County Tax Office in the amount of $313.98 and exempting the item from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Govt. Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(7)(C)(electric power, gas, water, and other utility services;) and authorizing execution of the agreement.

This agreement is for the installation of Spectrum Internet Services at the Williamson County Tax office at 412 Vance St, Taylor TX 76574. A one time installation fee of $99.00 applies.  The Spectrum Internet Ultra and Static IP1 month to month recurring charges are $214.98.  Spectrum is the only provider for these services in the is area, and we are requesting an exemption from the 3 quote requirement for this utility service.
