Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Williamson County and Spectrum Internet Service to provide the installation and internet service to the Hutto Community Center, 3751 CR 130, Hutto, TX 78634 in the amount of $3,285.03 with a month to month contract term and monthly recurring charges of $134.98 and exempting the item from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Govt. Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(7)(C) electric power, gas, water, and other utility services; and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
This agreement is for the installation of Spectrum Internet Services at the Hutto Community Center, 3751 County Road 130, Hutto, TX 78634. A one time construction and installation fee of $3,285.03 applies. The Spectrum Internet and Static IP1 month to month recurring charges are $134.98 for this utility service.
