Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding the closing of Hairy Man Road and Brushy Creek Road and detouring traffic during construction of the Great Oaks Drive Improvements project, a Road Bond Project in Commissioner Precinct 1.
Background
The proposed detours of Hairy Man Road and Brushy Creek Road are necessary to construct the bridge and related intersection. The detours of Hairy Man Road and Brushy Creek Road will not occur simultaneously. The Hairy Man Road closure and detour will last approximately nine months. The detour of Brushy Creek Road will only divert trucks and will last approximately one month. Adjacent property owners, Williamson County Emergency Communications, the US Postal Service, and the Round Rock ISD will be notified, prior to any changes in the traffic pattern.
