Discuss, consider and take any appropriate action regarding termination of Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) Contract #2921PEN023 for data exchange for Williamson County Constable Pct. 1 Office, and authorize County Judge to sign letter proving 30-day notice of termination.
Background
Scope of services for this contract was to access TWC Information solely for the following purpose: to assist in locating defendants, witnesses and fugitives in criminal cases and to assist in locating persons with outstanding warrants. Access to this information is not longer needed. Fee for this contract is $1,500.00 per year. The point of contact is Chief Deputy Greg Papst in Williamson County Constable Pct. 1 Office with the request to terminate the referenced contract. The contract runs through October 31, 2022 but is no longer needed to support operations of the Constable Pct. 1 Office.
