Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ #21RFSQ2 Design or Engineer Services for Minor County Building Projects to the recommended firms herein for a period of five (5) years on an as-needed basis.
Background
Williamson County received 39 responses from experienced firms to provide professional Architectural or Engineering (“A/E”) services to support the County Architect for various small projects. Qualifications were evaluated and scoring assigned. Top ranked firms are being recommended for award on an as-needed basis. The list of recommended firms is attached herein. Of note, some firms are qualified for more than one discipline. Most, if not all, projects will be renovations of existing facilities. Areas of professional services and the number of firms that are being recommended for award are:
The awarded pool of professionals will be valid for five (5) years with yearly review for possible addition or removal of firms. Professional Service Agreements (PSA) will be contracted on an as-needed basis and will be presented to court for approval at that time. Budgeted amounts will vary as various line items, and project numbers may be used. Trenton Jacobs is the point of contact.
