Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of one (1) 2023 Freightliner 4x4 Chassis Truck with M2-106 binding flink spreader body in the amount of $150,941.00 and one (1) 2023 Freightliner M2-112 Tractor w/DD13 engine in the amount of $109,559.00 for the total amount of $260,500.00 from Freightliner of Austin, as per TIPS Contract #200-206.
Background
Approval of this additional purchase will benefit the Williamson County Road and Bridge Department. Quote is attached that outlines vehicles specifications and warranty. The Fleet Services Department and Budget Department have reviewed this purchase. These are two additional Freightliners which are not replacing old ones. Department contact: Shea Webb, Funding Source: 01.0200.0210.005700 and approved in the FY22 budget.
