Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the engagement of the law firm of Germer PLLC to represent Williamson County in relation to the cases of Marquina Gilliam-Hicks v. Sean Feldmann, in his individual capacity, and Williamson County, Texas; Skylar Leal v. Williamson County, Texas, et al.; Imani Nembhard v. Williamson County, Texas, et al.; and Gary Watsky v. Williamson County, Texas, et al.; and exemption of these services from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption for personal or professional services, as set forth under Tex. Loc. Gov’t Code § 262.024(a)(4).
