Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approval of the final plat for the Eastwood Section 8 subdivision – Precinct 4.

Background

This is the next section of the Eastwood development.  It consists of 172 single family lots, 2 landscape lots, 1 green space/drainage lot, 1 green space/drainage/utility lot and 5,462 feet of new public roads.  Roadway and drainage construction is not yet complete, but a financial security in the amount of $339,764.87 has been posted with the County to cover the cost of the remaining construction.

Timeline
2021-10-04 – initial submittal of the final plat
2021-11-03 – 1st review complete with comments
2022-01-10 – 2nd submittal of final plat
2022-01-10 – 2nd review complete with comments clear except completing construction
2022-02-02 – receipt of final plat with signatures
2022-02-08 – receipt of financial security for the remaining construction
2022-02-10 – final plat placed on the February 15, 2022 Commissioners Court agenda for consideration
