Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Amendment to Residential Real Estate Listing Agreement between Williamson County, Texas and Baker Realty relating to the residential real estate located 106 Dana Drive, Hutto, Texas 78634; and authorize the Williamson County Judge to execute any documents necessary to sell and covey the property in accordance with the terms of the Listing Agreement (Texas Local Government Code Section 263.008).
Background
Baker Realty had to obtain inspections and preparation services in order to market the property. Such services caused a delay in being able to place the property in the Multiple Listing Services (MLS). The property must be listed in the MLS for at least 30 days pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Section 263.008. Due to those facts, Baker Realty would like to change the end date of the listing agreement from March 22, 2022 to May 31, 2022 and increase the listing price pursuant to this amendment. The original Listing Agreement was approved by the Commissioners Court on December 21, 2021.
