Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of staff uniforms from GT Distributors, Inc. for the EMS Department in the not-to-exceed amount of $56,400.00, pursuant to BuyBoard Contract #603-20.
Background
Approval of this purchase will provide uniforms for 141 EMS employees. Estimated budgeted is $400.00 per employee, however uniform requirements vary with each position. Orders will be placed according to the individual employee requirements. The attached quote shows unit prices per garment and item only. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0540.003311. Department point of contact is Ed Tydings.
