Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the purchase and agreement between Opex Corporation and Williamson County for an Envelopener and the annual maintenance in the amount of $21,825.00, and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Tax Assessor Collector's Office by providing automated envelope opening.  The Tax Office issued 21RFQ61, a request for quotes, in Bonfire and received three submissions.  Of those three submissions the Opex's solution provides the best value to the Tax Office.  Attached is the proposal as well as the maintenance agreement.  The Envelopener will be purchased in full, not leased, at a total of $19,365.00 for equipment and freight.  Annual maintenance for the initial term is $2,460.00.  Maintenance will be invoiced annually at current rates. IT, Legal, audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase.  This expenditure will be charged to Tax Office discretionary funds.  Department contact is Matt Johnson.
