Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of GrayKey Software from Panamerica Computers, Inc. in the amount of $18,365.00, pursuant to GSA cooperative contract #GS-35F-0397U, and authorizing execution of the agreement. Funding: Forfeiture Funds.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. GrayKey is a software for law enforcement agencies to use during investigations and breaks smartphone encryption and passwords. Quote is attached that outlines the software license and hardware to be purchased. An end user license agreement is also included in the attachments. IT, legal and contract audit have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be charged to forfeiture funds, 0410.0413.5741. Department contact is John Foster.
